The most popular Jupiter waterfront homes are the properties that sit on the Loxahatchee River which offer larger yards and wide water views instead of the typical canal front homes you see down South. Boaters will enjoy the easy access to the ocean out the Jupiter Inlet or the Lake Worth Inlet to our South. Living on the Intracoastal you will have communities such as Jupiter Inlet Colony or Admirals Cove. On the Loxahatchee River you will look at Tequesta Country Club, Island of Jupiter and a few other waterfront communities. The only drawback with living on the River is some of the areas can be shallow and there are some 16ft fixed bridges that these Jupiter waterfront homes sit behind. Many of the waterfront homes have been torn down and new homes have been built in the last few years. Many of the new waterfront homes are 5,000 sq. ft or larger.

The least expensive option for Jupiter waterfront properties is canal front homes which start at just under a million but offer ocean access to boaters. Of course they may not have the views of a river home but they offer affordable waterfront living. You may see some waterfront homes in the $500,000 price range but you can expect to need a very small boat as they have shallow waters to navigate through and fixed bridges of 5ft or so.
